Every other year James' family has a great tradition of going up to Sun Valley for 5 days with all of his siblings and their spouses. No kids. Almost everyone made it this year minus two sister-in-laws and one couple. So, it was a pretty good sized group, considering there are 10 kids in James family. It is a lot of fun to enjoy his siblings and their spouses for a week. We had to take Daniel with us this year since he is still nursing, which kind of inhibited our activities a bit, but we were still able to enjoy some great tennis playing (which is my favorite part), swimming, hiking, taking walks, and biking. I am one who likes to relax on vacations, but this is one where you come home just exhausted!! One of the traditions is staying up late at night playing Maffia with everyone. It is a lot of fun and provides great laughs, especially when it gets pretty late. Now, I am just trying to figure out how to catch up on my sleep!
>Daniel and his cousin, Luke, getting cozy in the bike trailer for a bike ride!

James, Daniel and I hiking Dollar Mountain. The hike was gorgeous and the Lupin flowers were beautiful and smelled so good!

James mom always takes the ladies to "Gretchen's" for a buffet lunch every time. It is always a treat we look forward to and the food is fabulous! We were just missing three sister-in-laws. We missed you! The lady on the left is James' oldest brother, Dean's, fiance! Yes, he is getting married again! His wife, Amy, suffered so long from cancer and passed away a year ago. We are so thrilled he found Joelle and they are getting married in October. She is going to be so great for him and his kids.

The gang, minus James Swensen (who knows where he was), Lisa (Peter's wife), Heather (Parry's wife), Tim and Mary. Hopefully everyone can make it in 2 more years!
